Socks are an indispensable item in our daily wear, carrying our footsteps and our lives.
Prepare Warm Water: Heat water to a suitable temperature (e.g., 40°C for cotton socks, 30°C for wool socks), then pour it into a basin
Add Detergent: According to the detergent instructions, pour in an appropriate amount of detergent and gently stir to dissolve.
Soak Socks: Place the socks in the detergent solution and soak for 10-15 minutes. This effectively removes dirt.
Gently Scrub: Gently rub the surface of the socks with your hands, especially areas prone to dirt accumulation such as the heels and toes. Be careful not to rub too hard to avoid damaging the fibers.
Rinse: Rinse the socks thoroughly with clean water, ensuring no detergent residue remains. Use running water while rinsing to avoid waterlogging.
Drain: Gently squeeze out excess water from the washed socks. Do not wring or twist to avoid deformation.
If the socks label indicates they are machine washable, you can choose to machine wash them. Here are the machine washing steps:
1. Sort: As mentioned earlier, sort the socks by color and material.
2. Place in a laundry bag: Put the socks in a laundry bag to prevent them from tangling in the washing machine.
3. Select a washing program: Select a washing program suitable for the sock material, generally a gentle cycle.
4. Add detergent: Add an appropriate amount of detergent, following the instructions on your washing machine.
5. Adjust the water temperature: Set the appropriate water temperature according to the sock material, being careful not to exceed the recommended temperature.
6. Dry: After washing, avoid using a dryer if possible; it's best to air dry them naturally in a cool, shaded place.
