Wool socks offer excellent warmth. Their fiber structure contains numerous tiny, fluffy air pockets that prevent heat transfer, forming an insulating layer that effectively retains body heat. Infrared testing shows that their heat retention is approximately 7°C higher than ordinary cotton socks, and the honeycomb-like circulating warm loop design provides cold resistance up to -10°C. Wool absorbs moisture from the surrounding environment more effectively than other clothing fibers, helping to keep feet dry. Wool has high crimp, good elasticity, and fine, soft fibers, providing a comfortable wearing experience. Wool itself has antibacterial properties, reducing odor and bacterial growth; products with added silver ion antibacterial fibers have an antibacterial rate of approximately 99%. Wool fabric has good washability and stain resistance, effectively resisting stains and having a long lifespan. Some brands use patented technologies to extend the lifespan of their socks.
Wool socks are prone to pilling, which may affect their appearance. Wool socks have a relatively high shrinkage rate; when washing, use warm water and a mild detergent, avoiding hot water, and lay flat to dry. Wool socks are sensitive to water quality and temperature during washing. Use a mild detergent and cold or warm water. Do not use detergents containing bleach, and avoid high-temperature drying or direct sunlight. Wool socks are not suitable for high-temperature environments, as they are prone to deformation and damage.
